INT. LOLA’S ROOM. NIGHT.
LOLA ENTERS AND WALKS OVER TO HER DESK TO START WITH HER STUDIES. SILENCE IS BROKEN BY THE SOUND OF A PHONE WHICH LOLA REACHES OVER TO GET AND ANSWERS.
LOLA
Hi Dad, how is New York?
(Waits several moments)
Ah good! Well I was just doing some revision for the business exam tomorrow but I’m going to head off to bed.
(Waits several moments)
Ok well I’ll speak to you tomorrow. (Smiles before saying)Miss you Daddy. I love you.
GOES OVER TO BED AND GETS IN BEFORE TURNING THE BED LIGHT OUT. CLOSES EYES AND GOES TO SLEEP.

INT. LOLA’S HALLWAY. NIGHT.
LUCA PULLS THE DOOR OPEN AND STOPS TO STAND AND PEERS UP THE STAIRS. LUCA BEGINS TO WALK THE STAIRS QUIETLY. LUCA WAITS OUTSIDE THE DOOR BEFORE GENTLY PULLING THE HANDLE DOWN.
INT. LOLA’S ROOM. NIGHT.
LUCA ENTERS THE ROOM AND WONDERS OVER TO LOLA’S BED. WAITS A MOMENT THEN PLACES THE RAG OVER HER FACE.
LOLA’S EYES SHOOT OPEN AND FEAR STRIKES HER BEFORE SHE DAZES INTO A DEEP SLEEP.

INT. WAREHOUSE. NIGHT.
LOLA’S EYES OPEN AND SHE REALISES SHE’S ALONE. AGAIN FEAR RETURNS AND SHE REALISES SHE IS RESTRAINED AND HER MOUTH IS COVERED WITH TAPE. LOLA BEGINS SQUINTING AS A HUGE SPOTLIGHT IS PLACED IN FRONT OF HER. LOLA FRANTICALLY LOOKS AROUND HER SURROUNDINGS.

LUCA ENTERS THE WAREHOUSE AND LOLA IMMEDIATLEY LOOKS OVER. LUCA LAUGHS AS HE SEES THE FEAR IN LOLA’S EYES.

LUCA
Hi Lola. Hope you’re not too cold (laughs) oh and sorry to wake you!

LUCA LEANS IN TOWARDS LOLA’S FACE AS SHE TRIES TO MOVE AWAY. LUCA LAUGHS.

LUCA PULLS THE TAPE OF LOLA’S MOUTH

LUCA (AGGRESSIVE TONES)
There’s no point in screaming… no one will hear you now!

LUCA WALKS AWAY AND SITS AT HIS DESK.

LOLA (SOBS)
Why are you doing this to me?

LUCA
Because your father is a lying cheating…

LOLA (INTERUPTS ANRGY BUT STILL UPSET)

[SHOUTING] MY FATHER IS NONE OF THOSE THINGS! HOW DARE…

LUCA LAUGHS AND LOLA STOPS TALKING

LUCA (PATRONISING TONES)
Little Lola you have no idea what your father has done….

WAITS SEVERAL MOMENTS BEFORE TALKING
Before you were born, your father made a deal with a very wealthy man who offered him freedom from his trouble in the hope your father would return the favour. You could maybe call this a deal with the devil. However the stupid man fled and Vincent has been hunting him down ever since. I wasn’t intending to kidnap you, I was hoping to see your father but if that isn’t going to happen then you’re his only way out.

LUCA STANDS AS IF TO LEAVE

LOLA (FRIEGHTENED)
What will happen to me now?

LUCA IS STOOD NEAR THE DOOR, LUCA SMILES THEN REPLIES

LUCA
If your father was the man you thought he was, he’d listen to us and return to England to receive his punishment, or else your father will never see you again.

LUCA BENDS DOWN IN FRONT OF LOLA AND PEERS UP AT HER FACE
LUCA
Maybe your father is the loyal devoting father he’s painted himself to be.

LUCA CONTEMPLATES HIS LAST THOUGHT

LUCA
Or maybe he’s the person we think he is, the person who runs and never looks back until the past becomes his present and future.

(SHOUTS)
Leaves his daughter to sit in this cold warehouse not knowing whether I’ll rip her throat out or worse she’ll be subject to torture until you tell us where he is.
LUCA STANDS TO CIRCLE LOLA. LUCA CIRCLES LOLA. LUCA TURNS AND WALKS
TOWARDS THE DOOR.

LOLA BECOMES FRANTIC

LOLA
[SHOUTS] I WILL NEVER TELL YOU WHERE HE IS

LUCA
So then you’re no good dead or alive, shall I kill you now?

LOLA STARTS TO PANIC

LOLA
No please, please don’t. He’ll return and you can sort things out with him but please just let me go…

LOLA TRAILS OFF

LUCA RAISES AN EYEBROW

LOLA
I won’t tell anyone. I promise I won’t. I’ll call my Dad and tell him to come home, please just let me go.

LOLA LOOKS ON IN HOPE

LUCA LOOKS AS THOUGH HE CONTEMPLATES THE THOUGHT BEFORE SMIRKING

LUCA
Oh little Lola, how you do humour me.

LOLA LOOKS DOWN

LUCA
[SHOUTS] UNTIL YOUR FATHER RETURNS YOU’LL STAY RIGHT THERE

LOLA JUMPS BEFORE THE DOOR SLAMS AND SHE’S LEFT ALONE
